Big pants recoveries & scrap cars provides vehicle collection and scrap car purchase services across Manchester and the surrounding areas, including collection of damaged, crashed, non-running, and end-of-life vehicles.

2. Quotations

Any price quoted through our website is an estimate based on the information you provide. The final price is confirmed at the point of collection or drop-off and may be adjusted if the vehicle's condition differs from what was described, subject to our discretion.

3. Vehicle Ownership

By requesting a collection or drop-off, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle, or are authorised by the owner to arrange its sale and collection. You confirm the vehicle is free from any outstanding finance unless otherwise disclosed.

4. Collection & Drop-Off

We aim to collect or accept drop-off of vehicles within the timeframe agreed at booking. While we make every effort to meet the scheduled time, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic, weather, or vehicle access issues.

5. Payment

Payment is made on the day of collection or drop-off, either in cash or by bank transfer, as agreed with our team. Payment amounts are based on the confirmed condition of the vehicle at the time of collection.

6. DVLA Notification

Once a vehicle has been collected, we will notify the DVLA that the vehicle has been taken out of use, in accordance with UK regulations. It remains your responsibility to ensure any insurance, tax, or finance agreements related to the vehicle are settled or cancelled as appropriate.

7. Right To Refuse

We reserve the right to refuse the purchase or collection of any vehicle at any time, including where the vehicle's condition significantly differs from the information provided, or where legal ownership cannot be confirmed.

8. Limitation Of Liability

Big pants recoveries & scrap cars is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
